Hello, lovelies. Sorry for the absence yesterday, we were driving back from Rochester. We spent the weekend with some friends before their family of three becomes a family of four. Pictures below of the kiddos. In the meantime, here's some stuff that's floating around my brain:

* I won a blog giveaway! In honor of National Grammar Day (last Friday), Lindsay of Pilates in the City was doing a giveaway of the book Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing and I won. Grammar Girl is one of my favorite podcasts, so I'm psyched to read her book!

* I had the best fast food lunch today. Wendy's has a new set of salads on their menu as well as new natural-cut fries with sea salt, and my lunch of a half-size Apple Pecan Chicken Salad with a small fry rocked the house. Seriously, you should try it. So fresh and awesome.

* I'm still desperately hating all things winter and cold and ice. I'm thinking of downing that whole bottle of vitamin D supplements the doctor prescribed to get through March.

* We've got some pretty awesome trips on the horizon. Charlotte and I are making the big coast-to-coast flight out to Oregon to go visit my dad and brother in two weeks. Luckily my mom will be with us to help out. This is going to be a lifesaver as well. Then a week later B and I are headed to New York City for a little drinkin' and dancin'.

Play-dough. Unlike the homemade stuff that I have, which is made of mostly salt and is therefore DELICIOUS, she didn't try to eat it.
