I just finished making up our list of advent activities for December (which I'll post tomorrow), but for the working parents who can't do an activity a day I thought this would be a great alternative. Two bloggers put together this little bag of 24 small trinkets and presents for $35. Half of the proceeds go to charity and I just read on Twitter that there are still some left!
You could still supplement the weekends with fun activities, but now all of the other days of December would be taken care of. All you need is an advent calendar of some kind, but there are tooooons of easy homemade ones out in internet land, so you're a quick Google search away from a solution.
