Woo Hooo!! We had crock pot success tonight and now I suddenly feel like this is just the best invention
ever! What a brilliant, brilliant idea! I mixed everything last night, put the whole crock pot insert in the refrigerator, and then set it up this morning. When we came home, not only was there a great dinner, but there weren't the usual heaps of pots and pans from an elaborate dinner, just 2 plates and some silverware to throw in the dishwasher. Here's the recipe...
Pork Chops & Mushrooms:
- 2 boneless pork chops
- 1 medium onion sliced or diced
- 3 oz sliced mushrooms (I used baby portabellas)
- 1/2 envelope dry onion mix
- 1/3 C water
- 1 can fat free cream of mushroom soup
Mix everything together, cover, cook on low for 6 hours.
