Cold yard, warm heart
It's the third or fourth storm of the season... I'm losing track. It takes a good man to fly across the country to see his granddaughter and then spend half his time shoveling a driveway that's not his.
Also, we'll be visiting Plattsburgh on Sunday and Monday where - and I'm not even remotely kidding - the HIGH is supposed to be zero... as in ZERO. As in, at the pinnacle of the day, when the sun is the highest and it's as warm as it couldn't possibly have a chance of getting, it will be zero. And the low, before wind chill, is supposed to be -19. Why don't you just let that sink in for a bit.

Gives you an excuse to find someone with a fireplace! (I have to think like this as someone in a similar situation....)
