We're back from our brief trip to Albany. As always, it was a zip-in and zip-out situation, but it was still nice to see everyone. B's sister got her bridesmaid dress (very pretty!) and B got to use a Christmas gift certificate to get a new putter. Now he's all set for the bachelor extravaganza weekend in S. Carolina in May.
This evening, after B got home from work (don't ask), we worked on the seating chart for the wedding. Suddenly I'm seeing the whole world in groups of eight. I'm sure you're all going to tell me we're crazy for doing that so early, but we know most of the people who are definitely coming. This way, when it's time to do it for real it's more fine tuning rather than the horrible disaster everyone tells me it can turn into the week before the wedding. Our mutual goal for the entire year has been "No Stress!!" So far, it's going great, but I'm trying to stay on top of everything so we'll look back on our engagement year with nothing but wonderful memories.

Lord love you; you sound so frigging calm and on top of everything! We had quite a time with our tables, but that's because we had so many people who wouldn't sit with each other. Yes, I definitely saw people in batches of eight.
Will you have a head table? We didn't so our sibling could sit with their significant others...and so we didn't have to deal with it. We also seriously considered a sweetheart table but realized we couldn't fit one, so we did a "mutual friends from Buffalo" table that we sat at in order to be fair to each other. The best part was not having to wait in line for food-they brought it to us! :-)
