Here’s a pic of our yummy tapas dinner from last night – curry chicken salad in lettuce, deviled eggs, and crostini with pesto, goat cheese, tomatoes, and walnuts.

It’s the second night this weekend we had a tapas dinner… we’re big fans.
On an unrelated note, it occurred to me that we haven’t done a poll in a while. This weekend I was thinking that I hate unloading the dishwasher – I hate it. And I have to do it every day (just about) and it really doesn’t take that long, but for some reason, I absolutely dread it. So here’s the question: What housekeeping chore do you dread and why??
While you’re answering that, I’ll be dragging my sorry ass back to pilates for the first time in well over a month (ouch!), and heading up to the museum to volunteer. Hope you’re easing into your week!

Hmmm...there are so many to choose from. :)
We are both horrible at doing the kitty litter, but I think that's more of a memory thing because it's in the basement.
I tend to dread cleaning food out of the sink. I am totally one of those people where it can be delicious food on my plate one second, but the second it touches the sink, or even if the plate is set in the sink, it's instantly repulsive and I act like my fingers are going to burn off with acid if I touch it.
I loathe laundry. I generate lots and lots of laundry. I hate it!
The tappas looked fierce. Check out my blog tonight. I'm posting about my Watermelon Soup. Seriously, it's to die for. I had it on vacation and the chef would not give me the recipe...What a queen! Anyway, I concocted one of my own from a couple different sources.

oh my. i equally loathe emptying the dishwasher and putting away clean laundry. oddly enough, i have no issues with washing or folding the laundry. both the dishwasher and laundry were my "chores" since i was a little ouiserella, and i despise them. yuck. as fate would have it, a vast majority of my time is spent doing both tasks. that's what i get for loving to cook and having a toddler, eh??
washing the dishes...hate it. I leave them so long that in the summer I tend to have a bit of a fruitfly problem....gotta get better at that!
i loathe housework in general, hence my claim that I am great mom, but a horrible housewife. I can't stand folding laundry because it takes forever and lately just gets undone by J anyway. Dishes are a drag. I have to say that I've never really minded cleaning the bathroom, as disgusting as it is. It's been a favorite chore since childhood.
