Design Love

I know it's a wee tiny bit sacrilege to post about the holidays when it's not even Thanksgiving, but thanks to the aforementioned I have no Thanksgiving responsibilities thing I told you about, I've already got my eye on all things Santa.

I've been trying to slowly move away from the general wastefulness of wrapping paper (except for the kiddos who think that's the best part), so I LOVED these bags that I found over on a Babble post.  Beautiful, personalized, reusable, etc.  Not to mention that with a little patience you could definitely make your own DIY version with some stencils.  But 12 for $24 seems like a great price, especially since you'd get most of them back and be able to reuse them every year.

Ooh, I LOVE those. Every year I also mean to try furoshiki, just go to Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics and get a few squares of holiday-inspired material and wrap gifts that way. There are numerous sites to teach you how to wrap it.
